Northern Virginia Real Estate: Will There be A Real Estate Market Crash?

Is the real estate market going to crash because of Coronavirus?

A lot of my clients are asking if there will be a real estate market crash coming into 2020 and the beginning of 2021?

Here’s what we know, as of now there is Coronavirus that’s going on, we know that there’s a lot of unemployment and many of those people will get their jobs back once the economy opens back up, yet many of them won’t.

Nobody has a crystal ball, however, if we’re looking at what the future may bring, we do expect that the real estate market will decline. So, what’s gonna happen once the economy will be back, there is a ton of real estate that is gonna come out on the market, because right now there’s a lot of people that are holding off. Now, when that happens, then that’s gonna flatten prices out or decline them, a lot of people are not getting their jobs back, so the real estate market might go down.

I certainly don’t expect anything as we saw in 2008, yet I do expect that from now until might be to April of 2021, is what the economy is predicting that the real estate market will decline.

Again, nobody has a crystal ball, but right now that’s what it’s looking like.

Ultimately, real estate investing or owning real estate through the long hole. So, if you can get a good deal right TODAY, you SHOULD do it.
